Types

There are four types of vinyl.


L.V.T (Luxury Vinyl Tile) Luxury vinyl flooring is a layered product with a base layer made primarily of PVC vinyl, which offered product durability & stability. LVT can replicate the look of natural stone or hardwood without the install or maintenance expenses associated with either. Available in glue down, loose lay or clic. LVT is made of several layers that are fused together under heat and pressure:
-Wear Layer. A protective clear layer finished with a polyurethane coating which is sometimes reinforced with ceramic bead, silica bead or aluminum oxide.
-Print film layer (with your chosen design)
-Vinyl core
-Vinyl backing
Sheet VinylExtremely cost effective, sheet vinyl is a resilient flooring that people often use as an alternative to natural stone, ceramic tile or even hardwood. Available in a single roll cut to size. Can be installed premier bonded or full bonded. Layered construction and protective finish make it durable and long-lasting
-UV protective layer
-Print or Design layer
-Fiberglass or foam backing for support and durability
Rigid Core Made up of a stone plastic composite core, Rigid Core Vinyl is one of the most durable waterproof flooring options on the market. Because it does not expand or contract, it does not need to be acclimate before installation and is suitable for area where heat or moisture is present. The durable rigid composite hides subfloor irregularities and can span large areas without those eyesore expansion strips.

-SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) Core
-Foam or Cork Backing for noise absorption.
WPC Available is a variety of wood or tile looks, WPC is made of recycled wood pulp and plastic composites making it extremely stable and durable. A WPC vinyl is thicker than your traditional vinyl, so you’ll have a similar feel to a laminate. It can be laid over most subfloors with little preparation. Just like a standard vinyl floor, WPC vinyl flooring is waterproof and will not be damaged in the event of a spill or moisture. -Wear or Protective Layer -Vinyl Printed or Design Layer -WPC (Wood PLastic Composite) Core -Foam or Cork Basking for noise absorption

Maintenance

Remove dust, sand and grit particles by sweeping, vacuuming or dust mopping
Rinse the floor thoroughly with fresh water and mild vinyl cleaners recommended by the manufacturer
Never use abrasive cleaners, soaps, paste waxes, or solvents on your vinyl floor
Even though waterproof, floors should never be flooded with water or be allowed to have standing water for long periods of time
Protect the floors from dirt and grit that can be tracked in by using walk off mats at every entrance
Never use vinegar, acetone or lacquer thinner to clean these floors
Stubborn rubber heel marks can be removed with a soft cloth dampened with mineral spirits
When the floor gets build up, consult the with the manufacturer’s recommended cleaner system
